What was the highlight of Hotel Ohtels La Hacienda
It was overall very pleasant and comfortable.
The pool is nice and clean, water is not too cold or not. The buffet food was pretty good too. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The property is old. Pillows were not comfortable, the elevators were sometimes hard to catch. It’s a family hotel so expect lots of small kids.

Property nice but wouldn’t go again
The pool was a lovely feature and always a sun bed free. Room was lovely size, and light.
The staff were rude, if we asked for information they’d loose you stupid and answer in Spanish. We went half board and I’d never do it again. It cost €13 euro for two drinks (Rum and Coke/G&T) go down the round and it’s all of 2€ for a beer/cider. Also they state you have free water with every meal - ask for what? We get a bottle and have to pay 2.50€ ask for tap water it’s free… not that they explain this! They also advertise that there’s a lot around the hotel, there really isn’t unless you want to walk for half an hour or get a bus for 20/30 minutes.

What was the highlight of Hotel Ohtels La Hacienda
Nice kitchen staff and pools, BUT…
Great pools and the rooms were nice, plus the beds were pretty comfortable.
Way too expensive in comparison to other hotels in La Pineda. And it’s my first time EVER not having our meal drinks (lunch and dinner) not be included even though we had Pension Completa, and I’m taking about when we were having our meals, and not during snack times. A young woman told me to ask for “la agua del hotel” (tap water) because it was all they had for free and she wasn’t surprised by my disbelief. Drinks should’ve been included, at least fountain drinks, simple wines and beers which Spain is flooded with. We will not be going back.
